Pea Salad

Pea Salad

In Honor of the Fourth of July, I thought I would pass on this quick and easy salad. Pea Salad is a great salad to take to all those Picnics that pop up this time of year. It’s a new family favorite. This salad also looks great layered in a clear bowl or truffle dish.

Pea Salad

1/3 cup Sour Cream

1 Tbsp Mayonnaise

Salt and Pepper to Taste

1 Tbsp White Vinegar

4 Cups frozen green peas, thawed

but cold (not cooked)

8 Slices of Bacon, cooked until crisp and chopped

½ cup Red Onion chopped

1 ½ Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

3 Hard Boiled eggs Chopped.

Mix the Sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and vinegar together in a small bowl. Add the peas and stir to coat. Add the remaining ingredients and stir.

Enjoy!!
